Hi everyone from HIHS NPCC
1. Another tribute by our Officer Commanding
Our OC Mr. Chang has "caught the PowerPoint bug" from me, and will be showcasing a series of PPT slides he has created on the school TV messaging system from next Monday. Look out for his tribute and more to come from your Cadet Inspectors as well as Mr. Suhaimi!
2. A warm welcome to our Secondary 1 members
It was great to see all of you yesterday. I'm pretty sure your seniors worked hard at making you feel "at home", despite the cold and long (not really, in my opinion) day. They'll continue to do so next week, demonstrating the spirit I mentioned when I spoke to you before dismissal.
And yes, let's hope for sunny weather on 2 February. :)
3. Briefing on standardized procedures for weekly training
Mr. Suhaimi or I will be speaking to all cadets as well as officers regarding the above-mentioned procedures in early February. Our 30-minute briefing covers several aspects of weekly training, including attendance and dismissal times. Letters that summarise the points covered in this briefing will be issued to everyone on the very same day. They are meant for the eyes of your parents or guardians too.
Regards

NPCC 2007
All members of HIHS NPCC Unit,
a warm welcome back to NPCC for 2007.
I would like to introduce you to our officers for this year.
1) I will still be the OC, Ms Chia as the adjutant, Mr Yeo as my right hand-man and Mr Suhaimi as the parade master.
2) We are honoured to have 4 reserve teachers (mentors) to be in our unit. They are Mr Ong Hien Kiat, Ms Lim Wee Keng, Mr Anba and Ms Lim Lin Lin.
3) Then for CIs, we have CI Jocelyn (chief), CI Macrina, CI Mark and CI Yonglin. CI Fulin is still attached to Pei Hwa Sec Sch.
4) Lastly, we have two active senior NCOs, SI Shenn Phua and SSGT Poh Jia Sheng
I didn't upload the January calender as there is no special trainings beside the CCA orientation.
So the trainings for January will be on all fridays 12th, 19th and 26th.
For your information, we will be posting your attendance and duration after the training/event on the 'Attendance' blog site which you can find under links. This is to facilitate you in explaining to your parents if need to.
