Ammendment to next week training (24th Feb)

Training will be brought forward to 22nd Feb, Wednesday. This is to facilitate the campcraft training for the girls.

Please inform your parents regarding this change.

Reminder: Sec 3 Cadets will be doing their 2nd dry practice on this day.

Sec 1 Dog Unit Vist

All Sec 1 cadets will vist the Police Dog Unit on 21st Feb.

Please submit your consent forms latest by 17th Feb, Friday to any NCOs/CIs/TOs.

Hope you will enjoy the trip to see the 'cute' doggies.

Sec 3 Classification Shoot and Dry Practices

All Sec 3 Cadets, your dry practices will be on 20th and 22nd of Feb. The live shoot will be on 28th Feb.

Please submit your consent forms latest by 18th Feb, Sat to any NCOs/CIs/TOs.

You will be shooting with cadets from Area 8. This is due to OBS, we have to postpone the dates.

(NCOs may go to assist the duty TO if they have no lesson or commitment.)

Inter-unit Campcraft Competition 2006

Our unit has sent two teams (boys and girls) to compete in the bi-annual Inter-unit Campcraft Competition.

The teams have trained very hard since last year June.

All the best! And may you bring glory to our unit.

For cadets who wish to support them, the dates are (boys) 18th Feb, 1615 hrs and (girls) 25th Feb, 0800 hrs. Venue is at Police Academy, Thomson Road.

Total Defence Commemoration on Tuesday, 14 Feb 06

All cadets are to bring and wear full-uniform in the morning before flag raising.

Cadets may change to mufti during recess.

Area 7 Games Day 2006 (Updated 11 Mar)

Area 7 Games Day will be held on 1st April at North Vista Sec Sch.

The games will consists of:

• Boy soccer (by Serangoon Sec)
• Girl soccer (by Serangoon Sec)
• Captain's ball (by North Vista Sec)
• Area 7 Idol (by North Vista Sec)
• Telematch (by HIHS)
• Tug of war (by HIHS)

As you can see, we are hosting tug-of-war and telematch.

For the telematch, all sec 2 cadets are to assist in organising. (Please refer to Miss Chia for more details)

For the rest of the units, trainings for the games will be included into the weekly trainings. Selection for the various competition teams will be done by CI Joey Pear.

Just to highlight one point. We were Champions for the past two years and I believe we will still be the Champions this year!
